The Redskins had one of the greatest off-seasons of any team in 2020. They started by improving their entire staff, signing Ron Rivera at Head Coach, Jack Del Rio at Defensive Coordinator, and Scott Turner as their Offensive Coordinator. They also drafted the best defensive player in the draft, Chase Young, to improve their offensive line. In Free Agency, they traded for QB Kyle Allen as a backup, signed Ronald Darby and Kendall Fuller, and improved their depth at the Tight End position. The Redskins were 3-13 in 2019, and now have the chance to win their division in 2020.

Vic Fangio had a great first off-season with the Broncos. Drew Lock had a great season last year, going 4-1 in his 5 starts. They added Melvin Gordon, who will pair with Phillip Lindsay as one of the best RB duos in the league. They also drafted Jerry Jeudy, who will be a great WR2 alongside Sutton. This offense is very explosive, and has the potential to compete with the Chiefs. With this offense, and a stellar defense led by Von Miller, the Broncos are a playoff contender in 2020.

As one of the worst teams in 2019, it would be hard for the Dolphins to not have one of the best off seasons. The Dolphins went crazy, signing big name free agents. They drafted Tua Tagovailoa as their franchise QB, signed Byron Jones as the highest paid CB in the NFL, traded for RB Matt Breida and signed RB Jordan Howard, signed OT Ereck Flowers, signed Aqib Talib, and signed Kyle Van Noy, Emmanuel Ogbah, and Shaq Lawson. The Dolphins certainly look like one of the best teams on paper, and could be a team to win around 9+ games if Tua plays at a high level. In the AFC East, a division which is a lot less competitive since the departure of Tom Brady, the Dolphins could come out as a surprise wild card.

The Cardinals off-season was a rather surprising one. Many expected them to stay relatively quiet in Free Agency, and take a WR with their 8th pick in the draft. The exact opposite happened. In the early stages of Free Agency, they traded for WR DeAndre Hopkins, arguably the most shocking and surprising move this off-season. As a top 3 receiver in the NFL, players like Hopkins are usually known as “untradable.” The Texans were not hesitant in trading their best player in franchise history, dealing him to the Cardinals for David Johnson and some draft picks. Even though the Cardinals dealt David Johnson, they have a great replacement in Kenyan Drake. Finally, they drafted one of the best players in the draft, Isaiah Simmons, who unexpectedly fell to the 8th pick. The Cardinals basically found 2 star playmakers on both sides of the ball. What an off-season by Steve Keim and Kliff Kingsbury!
