The new wave of NFL all-stars has arrived, and the 2019 All-Pro team was a great example of this. Today, we take a look at these players, and predict the All-Pro Team for the 2020 season (only first team)!
The list may heavily differ from last year due to players on new teams and players that retired. Also, 2020’s absurd Free Agency will heavily impact this All-Pro team.
There will be plenty of players making a return to my 2020 prediction. Some of these players include big names like Aaron Donald, Christian McCaffrey, and many more. However, some of the positions will be a major shakeup from 2019.

The first thing that catches your eye on this list is QB Patrick Mahomes. The former Super Bowl MVP takes over Lamar Jackson’s 2019 spot on the All-Pro team. Next up, you have Christian McCaffrey, who I believe will be the best RB in the league for the 2nd year in a row. Along with the RB position, I kept the TE (Kittle) and WRs (Hopkins and Thomas) the same. These 3 players are among the most dominant in the league, and it is hard to argue they won’t be First Team All-Pro in 2020.
The major shakeup for this list is Dalvin Cook. In 2019, Chrisitan McCaffrey was both the RB and Flex for the 1st team. I have Cook taking over the Flex in 2020. With Stefon Diggs shipped off to the Bills, more opportunities open up for Cook. You can bet many teams will double up on Adam Thielin, and the Vikings will need to lie on Dalvin Cook’s shoulder.
The offensive line was also similar to that of 2019, with the only changes occurring at RG and RT. Brandon Brooks of the Eagles replaces Zack Martin for RG, and Mitchell Shwartz replaces Ryan Ramczyk for RT. The main takeaway from the offensive line All-Pro list is that the Eagles are and will be the best offensive line for many years to come.
The defense started off with the edge rushers. I kept dominant edge rusher T.J. Watt on the list, but swapped Chandler Jones with Chase Young. Young is the only rookie I have on the First Team. For the interior linemen, it was fairly obvious that Aaron Donald would be an All-Pro. However, Chris Jones replaced Cam Heyward. Jones had a dominant 2019 season with 9 sacks.
The linebackers demonstrates how dominant the future of the NFL will be. They consist of Wagner, Kendricks, and Leonard. These are all fairly young players that still have a lot to prove, and will. Leonard played worse in 2019 over his 2018 season, but was still a stud on the field. Wagner is a no brainer for First Team All Pro, and Kendricks proves to be one of the top coverage LBs in the league.
Finally, we have the defensive backs. The safeties remained the same, and it would take a lot to convince someone that Adams and Fitzpatrick aren’t the best in the league. The only shakeup for the DBs was Byron Jones, who is now the highest paid DB in the NFL. He replaced Marcus Peters from 2019.
Keep in mind that these are all predictions, and are subject to change if injuries occur. Feel free to leave all opinions down below!
