With the 17th pick in the NFL draft, the Dallas Cowboys have selected WR CeeDee Lamb out of Oklahoma.
In my opinion, and many others opinions, he was the best receiver in the draft. His ability to break tackles and gain yards after the catch is better than no others in the draft class.
Lamb had one of the best seasons with Oklahoma last season. He had 62 receptions, 1327 yards, and 14 TDs. He averaged 21.4 yards per reception.
With this pick, the Cowboys have formed the next big three. Their receiving core now consists of Amari Cooper, Micheal Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb. Oh, don’t forget that they have Zeke and one of the best offensive lines in the league. If Dak plays at a high level, this team is a Super Bowl contender.
Many have said the Buccaneers have the best WR core, but I have a hard time arguing that the Cowboys aren’t the best. Overall, this is a great pick and an absolute steal at the 17th pick.
CeeDee Lamb has the ability to play at an All-Pro level, and surely will with his offense.
